These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Karibu World website and mobile services (the "Platform") and any flight, hotel, or travel-related booking you make through us. Karibu World Ltd ("Karibu World", "we", "us", "our") acts as a travel agent, arranging bookings with airlines, hotels, and other travel suppliers on your behalf. By searching, booking, or otherwise using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
All fares, taxes, and fees displayed at the time of search are indicative until the booking is confirmed and ticketed. Prices may change before payment is completed due to fare availability or currency fluctuation. Full payment (or an agreed deposit, where offered) is required before a booking is confirmed and tickets are issued. We accept the payment methods shown at checkout; all payments are processed through PCI-compliant, tokenised payment gateways — we do not store your full card details.
You are responsible for ensuring that all passenger names, dates of birth, and travel document details entered at the time of booking exactly match the passport or ID that will be presented at check-in and immigration. Airlines may deny boarding for mismatched names. Name-correction fees, where permitted by the operating airline, are the passenger's responsibility. You must ensure all travellers hold valid passports, visas, and any other documents required for their itinerary; Karibu World is not responsible for denied boarding or entry due to inadequate travel documentation.
Each fare carries its own rules on changes, cancellations, refunds, and baggage allowance, set by the operating airline and shown before you complete payment. Where a change or cancellation is permitted, airline change/cancellation fees and any fare difference apply in addition to any Karibu World service fee. Refunds, where applicable, are processed back to the original payment method and may take several weeks depending on the airline's refund policy. Some promotional or discounted fares are non-changeable and non-refundable.
Airlines may change flight schedules, substitute aircraft, or cancel flights for operational, weather, or regulatory reasons. Where this happens, we will use reasonable efforts to notify you and assist with rebooking or refund in line with the operating airline's policy and applicable law. Karibu World is not liable for losses arising from airline schedule changes, delays, or cancellations that are outside our control.
Seat selection, extra baggage, travel protection, and other add-ons purchased through the Platform are subject to the terms of the airline or third-party provider supplying that service, in addition to these Terms.
Karibu World acts as an intermediary between you and the airlines, hotels, and other suppliers of the travel services you book. The contract of carriage for each flight is between you and the operating airline, and is subject to that airline's own conditions of carriage and applicable international conventions (including the Montreal Convention, where it applies). To the extent permitted by law, our liability to you is limited to the value of the service fee we charged for arranging your booking, except where liability cannot be excluded by law.
You agree not to use the Platform for any fraudulent, unlawful, or unauthorised purpose, including submitting false booking or payment information, or attempting to interfere with the Platform's normal operation.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania. Any dispute arising from these Terms or a booking made through the Platform will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Tanzania, without prejudice to any rights you may have under mandatory consumer protection law in your country of residence.
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services or legal requirements. The version in effect at the time of your booking will apply to that booking. Continued use of the Platform after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
