Day 1: Drive-in from Dar Es Salaam to Selous & Dusk Boat Safari
Upon arrival at Dar Es Salaam Airport, you will be met by our guide and then transferred to Selous King Lodge. Alternatively, we can pick you up at your hotel or apartment within the city. The drive to Selous Game Reserve, approximately 180km, will take about four hours. Once you arrive you will check-in at the Selous King Lodge for lunch. Later you leave for a romantic sunset Boat Safari along the Great Rufiji River. Awesome views of hippos growling, crocodiles basking on the banks and the abundant birdlife will spice up your spectacular dusk.

Day 2: Full Day Game Drive in the vast Selous Game Reserve
After a full breakfast, you will drive into the vast Selous Game Reserve to explore the diverse wildlife and undisturbed nature for a full day. Countless elephants and buffaloes,
Prides of lions, giraffes, zebras and impalas are quite common, Selous is also quite famous for having many African wild dogs. Enjoy a picnic lunch break from a safe vantage point while taking in the beautiful scenery and keeping an eye out for wildlife in their natural habitat.

Day 3: Dawn Walking Safari & Drive to DarEs Salaam
After morning tea or coffee, you will depart the lodge and make your way into the reserve for a Walking Safari accompanied by an armed ranger. The Park has a variety of vegetation zones, ranging from dense thickets to open wooded grasslands, After the Walking Safari, you will be transferred back to the lodge for a full breakfast. You will then check-out and begin the drive back to Dares Salaam. You will be dropped off at your hotel or the airport.
